A couple of years ago I had the opportunity to go for a drive with Rob Murray and talk about the void left in Guelph by the closing of the Guelph Mercury. Almost 27 years of my life was spent selling advertising and helping to produce the Guelph Mercury, which was one of Canada’s oldest daily newspapers.

In this video, I shared some honest observations about missteps in the newspaper business as a whole. These are lessons for any business faced with a disruption such as The Internet.
